Description:
The Xiaomi SU7 is Xiaomi’s first fully electric sedan, positioned as a technology-focused alternative to established performance EVs. The Xiaomi SU7 is a large electric sports sedan and Xiaomi’s first production car, combining smartphone-style software integration with performance-oriented chassis tuning. The updated 2026 version retains the original design while improving batteries, charging, suspension, braking, safety, and driver-assistance hardware.
Range and Battery of the Xiaomi SU7 :
Battery options range from 73.6 kWh to 101 kWh usable capacity depending on trim.
CLTC range claims: 630–830 km (real-world driving significantly lower).
2026 models move fully to an 800-V electrical architecture across the lineup.
DC fast-charging peak rates reported up to 480 kW in China; 10–80% in 11-30 minutes (Max/Ultra).
AC charging supports high-power onboard charging; efficiency varies notably by drive mode.
Powertrain and Performance of the Xiaomi SU7 :
Available with single-motor RWD (~220–235 kW, ~400 Nm) or dual-motor AWD setups up to ~495 kW and ~838 Nm.
SU7 Max delivers ~673 hp (≈495 kW); SU7 Ultra uses a tri-motor layout with up to ~1,548 hp (≈1,138 kW).
0–100 km/h: 2 – 5.7 second, for MAX under 2.0 second claimed for Ultra under optimal conditions.
Adjustable torque distribution allows front-biased, rear-biased, or near RWD behavior in AWD models.
Adaptive air suspension and active aero (rear wing/diffuser on higher trims) influence handling and stability.
Technology and Features of the Xiaomi SU7 :
- Standard LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar and a 700-TOPS Nvidia Thor-U platform support Xiaomi HAD assistance.
- 16.1-inch 3K central display runs HyperOS with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Customizable HUD, rotating driver display and magnetic accessory controls remain.
- Max receives 25 speakers, improved cabin insulation and double-thickness glazing.
