Description:
The XPENG G6 is a five-seat electric coupé-SUV, and this page covers the facelifted version launched in Europe in 2025, which brought an all-LFP battery line-up and much faster charging. It comes as an RWD Standard Range, an RWD Long Range and an AWD Performance, which the UK sells only in Black Edition styling. It’s sold in the UK and across XPENG’s European markets, but not in Canada.
Range, Battery, and Charging of the XPENG G6:
- On the WLTP cycle, the G6 is rated at 470 km for the RWD Standard Range, 525 km for the RWD Long Range and 510 km for the AWD Performance.
- Every version uses an LFP battery: 68.5 kWh in the Standard Range and 80.8 kWh in the Long Range and AWD Performance.
- On its 800-volt platform, XPENG claims DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes, with peak power of up to 451 kW (382 kW on the Standard Range).
- Autocar’s test car went from 17% to 80% in about 12 minutes, though few public chargers can deliver the G6’s full charging speed.
- The onboard AC charger accepts up to 11 kW.
Powertrain and Performance of the XPENG G6:
- The RWD Standard Range has 185 kW and 440 Nm and reaches 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while the RWD Long Range has 218 kW and 440 Nm and takes 6.7 seconds.
- The dual-motor AWD Performance has 358 kW and 660 Nm and does 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
- Top speed is about 200 km/h for every version.
- The G6 is quick and quiet, but the ride is firm or bouncy and the steering vague.
- All versions can tow up to 1,500 kg.
Technology and Features of the XPENG G6:
- A 15.6-inch centre touchscreen is paired with a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included.
- XPILOT ASSIST driver aids include a 360-degree camera.
